How SmartHUB works:

SmartHUB is a strictly typed object store, that sits at the center of the Keystone applications suite. It allows these and other third-party applications to understand each other based on shared data models and structured data.

SmartHUB validates incoming data events, timestamps and stores each event, and distributes the data to all connected applications in real time. 

SmartHUB includes incoming gates, validators, event generators, notifications and API services. 

Based on shared schemas, applications can share common data through objects in SmartHUB. All objects are strictly typed, which means everything is validated against schemas to enforce correct data within SmartHUB. 

The SmartHUB flow:

An application wants to share a piece of information with multiple other applications and systems. They submit this information to SmartHUB according to the schema matching this information. Immediately after the information is validated and stored, applications subscribing to this information are notified about the new update.
